Khaing Zaw Zaw and David Fisher are the founders of AHREM ( Arakan Human Rights and Environmental Movement). We started AHREM in July 2011 in Mae Sot, Thailand with the intention of giving education to Arakan Youths. Our students are extremelly poor and have been deprived of the chance to study to a high level in Arakan State, Burma. We are currently teaching ESL, Basic Computer and gereneral knowledge which enables them to enter into various scholarship programmes provided by various NGO's in Mae Sot.

We are also supporting Summer camps and training programmes in Arakan State. We are continuing this programme thanks to our donors and have the intention to continue this support for the underprivilidged.
